You can hire Kev as a Skipper or just as a fishing buddy to help you brush up on fishing techniques and navigation skills.

Kev has been involved in the fishing industry professionally since the early seventies. Working on commercial fishing vessels from Exmouth Gulf in North Western Australia, around the Southern Bight, through Victoria, NSW and up to Tropical Cairns in North Eastern Australia.
Realizing that there was a need for descent tackle stores that actually knew what they were talking about, Kev opened his tackle outlet "K.C's Custom Fishing Tackle" on the water front at Manly Harbour in Brisbane where people could come to learn about new techniques and equipment that were available. 
Spending more and more time chasing Game fish and other offshore species, Kev attained his Game / Charter boat license and is a Certified I.G.F.A.Captain. 
Kev sold his Tackle outlet to free up his time, so he can spend more time doing what he loves....Fishing. 
Kev conducts his popular one on one fishing classes where you can be refreshed on the finer points of angling topics such as, tying knots, plaiting doubles, using wind on leaders, tying wire, rigging swim baits, trolling lures, setting drags, rigging hooks, bar crossing, understanding weather patterns, boat handling, rope splicing etc.
Game fishing techniques, reef fishing, estuary fishing, fly fishing, lure fishing, sport fishing.

When you start game fishing........ it 's not only the fish that get hooked!

Kev also provides a service for boaties that are unable to attend their moorings regularly to check ropes, and maintain vessel security and upkeep. So if you live too far away from your vessel, or simply don't have the time to check and maintain it's condition. Give Kev a call. (Brisbane and Bayside areas only).
